At Brimington Dental Practice, our expert team have years of experience when it comes to helping patients find a straighter smile. We love to help our patients achieve their smile ambitions and fixed braces are one way in which we can do so.

Getting to work in 18-24 months, fixed braces use brackets and archwires to gently move the teeth into the desired position. They are fixed to the teeth, meaning they are only removable by a trained orthodontist, and they will require adjusting every 6-8 weeks or so. This means you’ll have to come into the practice so that we can make these adjustments, as well as check up on your progress and make sure everything is going smoothly.

After wearing your braces, we’ll recommend a retainer so that we can be sure your new, straight smile is here to stay and to prevent the teeth from reverting to their original position.
